If you’re reading this that means you’re planning a trip to Greece and I’m both excited and jealous. I loved Greece last year, having explored Kefalonia and Crete I’m a little obsessed with the beauty of the Greek islands. There’s so many to explore, the list is building.
I will admit and I’m sure I have said this before, I have a reputation for over packing. Just ask my husband who has to buy extra luggage each year. In 2023, the year we travelled around CaliforniaCalifornia, I made the decision to use packing cubes, to have a well-planned packing list and one that would mean making sure that I could mix and match, be relatively light and be worn. I still haven’t quite managed it, I am getting better.
Packing for a summer holiday in Greece? Think light, breezy, and effortlessly stylish. The Mediterranean heat calls for flowy linen dresses, airy cotton shirts, and relaxed shorts to keep you cool while exploring whitewashed villages and sun-drenched beaches. A wide-brimmed hat and oversized sunglasses add a touch of glam while protecting you from the sun, and don’t forget comfy sandals for those charming (but hilly!) cobblestone streets. Evenings call for a chic yet casual look – think a maxi dress or linen paired with a stylish sandal. And of course, a swimsuit is a must because, in Greece, the beach is always calling.
Hopefully I can replicate this for our Summer adventure this year, albeit not a beach holiday. More on that in another post! Before I get excited for this years trip, lets look back at what I wore in Greece 2024.
