What to wear over the festive period

That’s right, folks, it’s that time of year once again…

When you’re left wondering what to wear this Christmas! Whether you’re wrapping presents, lunching with family and friends, getting glam for a party, or enjoying a winter walk, I hope you find some style inspiration from this festive edit.

Here, I have put together my favourite Christmas outfit ideas for the festive season, there are days when I like to make an effort without going down the all-out glamour route. And of course, there are days when only more is more will do.

The excitement of Christmas remains unmatched and if like me, you go full-on festive mode from mid-November we can be friends. The time for me is when we go on our Christmas Tree adventure around the middle of November, its always the start. And there may have been a Christmas movie watched on Netflix as I wrote this post!

Heading outside for a winter or Christmas Day walk? Opt for a classic Fair Isle knit. If the dancefloor beckons for a festive party or get together with friends, then indulge yourself in sequins or for those more low-key events, I turn to my silver trousers. When it comes to family festivities all-day comforts are always the way to go! I find myself wearing a cosy jumper with some shimmering metallic trousers and trainers.

Feeling a little overwhelmed by all the choice out there? Remember to shop your wardrobe and do not feel like you have to head out to the shops. Last years sequins and fair isle will do just perfect. I hope this post helps you to find some festive style inspiration. You can always hop over to my Insta where I’ll be sharing more outfits from this years festivities.
