For me, the idea of heading to a new destination is undeniably exciting, particularly after losing the option of travelling in previous years.
So, if like me and you spend those first few weeks after booking a holiday, wondering what to wear for all those idyllic days spent in the sunshine – this is the post for you! My Summer holiday outfit ideas. Some would say it all comes down to a capsule wardrobe, as much as I over pack – this vibe is a little too restrictive for me. I’m somewhere in between and do like to pack items that you can wear multiple times – styled in multiple ways.
As someone who is guilty of exceeding my baggage allowance, I made the decision when we travelled in 2021 to make my next summer wardrobe a well-planned one. Which meant ensuring that every item I packed would be entirely necessary and worn. This year when we travelled to Cyprus, I managed it! (almost)
I like pieces that will take me from beach to bar, day to night. A cover up that I can chuck on over a swimsuit but also reach for if it’s nippy in the evening.
A top tip would be to try and prevent having a summer holiday wardrobe that is only worn for two weeks of the year. Don’t fall into the trap of being seduced by rails and rails of holiday styles not to be warn until the next trip. And so, I thought I would share what I wore in Cyprus this Summer in the hope it might inspire your holiday outfit ideas for a Winter sun break or next years adventures.
