That’s a wrap. The 5th Chapter of 2022 complete. I’m a little late writing this post, a cliché some might say but life kinda got in the way.
When I look back on my camera roll I can’t quite believe how quickly time is flying by. A reminder that I really must write things down, keeping this family journal is so important to me. It only feels like a few days ago since we were preparing for the start of George’s SAT’s, yet the reality is that was almost two months ago.
How was your May?
Before we jump into two months ahead – I have some catching up to do. Let me tell you a little more about the things that made us all smile in May, here is…
ME AND MINE – MAY 2022
GEORGE
Working incredibly hard to get through his SAT’s, watching Dr Strange at the iMAX cinema, many many football tournaments, playing footgolf with his team mates and joining in his School sports day.
DADDY
Celebrating with George at his football awards ceremony, managing to make George’s sports day, a family day in Manchester, planning our trip to France for our friends wedding and Sunday afternoons spent in the sunshine with friends.
MUMMY
Date night with Mr H, sports day for George, celebrating a friends 40th birthday (and remembering why I don’t wear heels), watching George win one of his football tournaments, a weekend in Manchester with the family.
BOBBY
Play dates with a furiend Wilf, new toys, frozen carrots.
AND THAT’S OUR ME AND MINE – MAY 2022
Despite everything 2020 and 2021 threw at us I am so glad that we have still managed to capture our little family during the strangest of times. As we start a new year, our 7th year taking part in the #meandmineproject I’m excited to see how 2022 develops. A year full of adventures. A year where we will travel. A year where we will live.
Chapter 6 of 2022 awaits.
