And just like that…
That’s the first Chapter of 2022 complete. Despite everyone around me claiming the month has been drawn out, for me it flew by. The first month of 2022. A very windy, rainy and blustery January with a rare frosty morning that we managed to enjoy and take our first family photos of 2022. This time last year we were enjoying the same frosty walk around the lake at Trentham Gardens as well as some awesome snowy adventures. Fingers crossed the snow arrives in February.
How was your January?
We started the beginning of the year in isolation which also coincided with my birthday. That’s two birthdays under lock and key. 2023 is going to be a BIG year. Despite being in isolation we really enjoyed our ten days in our little family bubble. It slowed us right down after a very busy and enjoyable month of December. I will admit that we ate a lot, that Mr H and I drank our way through Covid but that we also had fun playing Just Dance, making plans and watching a lot of TV series together.
And so, it’s the end of Chapter 1, the beginning of 2022.
Before we jump into another month, let me tell you a little more about the things that have made us smile, here is…
Me and Mine – January 2022
GEORGE
Kicking off a great start to the year with his football teams, babysitting his cousins for the weekend, eating crispy bacon butties as we walked around Trentham Gardens, watching Monster Trucks Live and watching his Coach play football.
DADDY
Finally getting out of isolation, getting back to watching George play football, long Winter walks with Bob, watching Monster Trucks Live, booking our summer holiday and making plans for his birthday in March.
MUMMY
All of the above and buying clothes in the sales, seeing signs of Spring shooting out of the woodlands, brighter and longer days, planning George’s 11th birthday, booking our Summer holiday and planning lots of adventures in between.
BOBBY
A sprinkling of snow, long walks with lots of treats, splashes of milk in my water, lots of kisses from new paw-furiends and sleepovers with my big brother.
And that’s our Me and Mine – January 2022
Despite everything 2020 and 2021 threw at us I am so glad that we have still managed to capture our little family during the strangest of times. As we start a new year, our 7th year taking part in the #meandmineproject I’m excited to see how 2022 develops. A year full of adventures. A year where we will travel. A year where we will live.
Chapter 2 of 2022 awaits.
