That’s the second Chapter of 2022 complete. Despite the wind and rain storms, the weather finally treated us to a few Spring like days as we arrived at the last weekend in the month. February, the second month of 2022 was quite literally a wash out, with very little snow which meant our adventures were limited. The football was called off which if truth be told meant some cosy weekends curled up under blankets. Fingers crossed the sunshine and blue skies are here to stay for March.
How was February for you and yours?
We started the beginning of the month hoping for snow, instead we were treated to Storm Dudley, Eunice and Franklin. We were quite literally blown away. The storms slowed down our half-term plans although that didn’t stop George playing football in the garden. I’m hoping March is filled with sunshine and blue skies, not only because it’s Mr H’s birthday but also – Spring is coming. Spring is coming!
Before we jump into another month, let me tell you a little more about the things that have made us smile in February, here is…
Me and Mine – February 2022
GEORGE
Collecting match attax and trading with his friends, painting a milk bottle at Trentham Gardens, winning his School’s football tournament, his buddy staying over for a sleepover, attending football camp during half-term and finally getting back to football after two weekends off.
DADDY
Planning his birthday celebrations, booking three gigs to take George to this year, dinner and drinks with friends, booking our summer holiday to Cyprus, getting out with Bob on a dog walk after twisting his knee.
MUMMY
Brighter and longer days, weekends without football (as much as I love it), managing to head out without a winter coat, planning our adventure to Cornwall and having a Spring cut and colour on my hair.
BOBBY
Long walks and running off lead, collecting sticks after the storms, eating frozen yoghurt and playing with Walter the Irish Wolf Hound.
AND THAT’S OUR ME AND MINE – FEBRUARY 2022
Despite everything 2020 and 2021 threw at us I am so glad that we have still managed to capture our little family during the strangest of times. As we start a new year, our 7th year taking part in the #meandmineproject I’m excited to see how 2022 develops. A year full of adventures. A year where we will travel. A year where we will live.
Chapter 3 of 2022 awaits.
