Me and Mine – October 2021

 

I hope you guys had a wonderful month of October. Only two months left of the year, gosh that’s come around fast. The summer flew by and so far I can definitely say the same about the last few chapters of the year. And with Halloween out of the way I guess it’s time to start thinking about the festive period. Like last month the family photos have been fewer, although I did manage to grab a selfie or two. As a I write this post we are at the start of a new month having spent the last week of October enjoying some half term activities.

 

Each month I sit down around the last few days and look through my camera roll. This month has been a really lovely blend of time together as a family, with friends and down time relaxing. I love that we come together and chat about our favourite days, achievements or weekends from the month. We all have our own list. It’s actually one of my favourite things to do. Do you ever do this?

And so, it’s the end of Chapter 10.

Before we jump into November, twinkly lights and woolly hats, let me tell you a little more about the things that have made us smile the last few weeks, here is…

 

 

ME AND MINE – OCTOBER 2021

 

GEORGE

Training for his School’s football team – fingers crossed he gets into the team, going on big walks with Bobby, going to the Magical Woodland with Nanny & Grandad, staying in a Yurt over half term and lastly a Halloween party with his best buddy.

 

DADDY

Watching Man Utd with George despite the huge loss, Friday evenings spent with friends, Autumn walks with Bob in new places, booking a last minute break for half term, cosy evenings eating out in Country pubs and making festive plans.

 

MUMMY

Catching up with a friend on a walk around Trentham Gardens, eating out with friends in new places, booking a last minute break for October and staying in a Yurt for the first time, escaping to the shops and updating my Autumn/Winter wardrobe, movie nights as a family – so far we’ve watched The Lord of The Rings and The Hobbit trilogies.

 

BOBBY

Running through the fields in the Yorkshire Dales, staying with a friend for a couple of nights, trying to eat conkers, getting a bath after running in the mud and playing with other doggies.

 

 

 

 

 

 

AND THAT’S OUR ME AND MINE – OCTOBER 2021

 

Despite everything the world continues to throw at us I am so glad that we have still managed to capture our little family during the strangest of times. As we move rapidly through 2021, our 6th year taking part in this #meandmineproject I am excited to see how the rest of the year develops. Each month we’re one step closer to a little bit of normality with a little bit of caution thrown in.

And so, Chapter 11 of 2021 awaits. Have a great month ahead.
