The BIG 10!
Double digits. Double balloons. It feels like one huge milestone for George. And us. His first decade. Did anyone else feel the same?
He is a blessing, the sweetest boy. The one who made me a Mummy and the one who makes me smile every day. He has the best personality, the sweetest nature, he cares so much. All of that combined with bundles of energy and love, he really is the best little human to be around. A gorgeous soul. And, he’s the best big brother to our furry baby.
When I look back at 2020/21 it really has been a year of two halves for him, for all of us. So much of what he missed in the months leading up to celebrating his 9th birthday has returned and he has shone. So bright. He has had an awesome first half of the year returning to everything he loves with all of his heart. Football (is still life), swimming (you bounced back after 12 months off), after School clubs, Nanny & Grandad picking you up. Making big decisions about his hair and journey as a footballer. I am so excited for this next Chapter.
I feel this is the year where he will look to us for more responsibility. Did anyone else get that? Walking to School, playing ‘out’ with friends. A mobile phone. I’m trying not to think about all that too much as it feels too soon. I will be honest and say I’m not ready for him to go to High School just yet so I’m grateful we have another year to prepare us all for this change and new found freedom. This year we are building. Building the confidence for all of us, towards all the changes that are coming.
The one where George turns 10!
The one where George turns 10!
He is going to have the greatest 10th year. Hopefully full of far more adventures than in 2020. Right, I’m off to help him make ten wishes! Here’s to a new chapter.
Happy Happy birthday George Archie.
