Hello Sunday
As we’re still in the one parent only camp for watching George at football – I am enjoying a slow start to the day, coffee and breakfast in bed with Bob and the sound of birds tweeting. Super peaceful. I certainly do feel thankful for this time, as soon as I can get back to watching George in his matches I will be there cheering him on. I miss it for sure. It’s amazing to watch him play and support him. So here’s my what I’m loving this week.
I can’t remember the last time I wrote on the blog and pressed publish at the same time! I want to try and get back in to writing these posts, maybe I’ll have them go live on a Sunday and perhaps not weekly but more often than I have lately. Anyway, here’s…
What I’m Loving This Week
Eating out as a family
This really does feel like a treat, we’ve managed to grab lunch out over a couple of weekends which has been perfect. And then the rain came. So now we’re back to Mr H cooking which if I’m honest is equally a treat, he’s a great cook and after detoxing and stripping back the last 9 weeks – I’ve definitely missed curry’s and pies and his scrambled egg on toast! A little bit of normality is good for the soul.
Beauty products
I’ve been looking for a fragranced hand sanitiser for a little while now but couldn’t really find one I liked. Does anyone else love the smell of the M&S hand sanitiser? I wish they bottled it! But M&S do sell their own in the beauty section so I treated myself to one from the apothecary range and I also saw this moisturiser in the Fragrance Society range which smells nice. Soothing too. Really good price. There’s so much more choice in the shop!
Summer wardrobe
Despite it raining the last few days I have enjoyed wearing my summer wardrobe and I’m slowly starting to switch out my wardrobe. Although the jumpers and layers will still be packed for now, I’m wearing sandals and dresses and really enjoying the switch up. I’ve picked up a few new pieces this year but I’m trying hard to wear my existing wardrobe as much as possible.
Garden life
Sitting out in the morning with a coffee, spending hours just relaxing in our garden space really is high on my little loves list. The covers are all packed away right now, come back sunshine. Having never had this space before last year we all treasure it. It really has made so much difference.
My magazine delivery
If you’re looking for a gift for a friend or a loved one I can highly recommend a magazine subscription. I love delivery day. My two favourites are Red and Vogue. Although I feel like a home decor one could be added to the list this year. Maybe so.
And that’s What I’m Loving This Week
