When I think back over March or look through my camera roll I can’t help but think it has been a pretty great month. We’re all for trying to make the most of these quieter weekends together as all that is about to change. So in February we celebrated my business turn two, and then we celebrated Mr H’s birthday. We’ve had lots of blue skies and sunshine. The trees are filled with blossom, such a pretty time of year. George was reunited with his School friends. The sunrise and sunsets from February have carried through to March. March was also the month filled with promises, the promise of a little bit of normality returning.
And so, it’s the end of Chapter 3. Does anyone else feel like the month of March and the year is whizzing by? I was only saying to a neighbour this evening how the year really has flown. How are we at the start of April already, gosh. Let me tell you a little more about the things that have made us smile, here is…
ME AND MINE – MARCH 2021
GEORGE
Playing with his friends at School, returning to football training, bumping into Nanny & Grandad on a walk around Trentham Gardens, playing in the sunshine and planning play dates with his friends.
DADDY
Making plans to meet with friends in their gardens, detoxing and regaining a balance that we had lost, getting out on the bike with George, running with a friend, the warmer days arriving and George’s football training kicking back in.
MUMMY
Warm sunshine on my face, detoxing with Mr H – we have a few more weeks yet but I feel so much better for it, sitting out in the garden on a weekend, long walks with Bob and making plans to see friends in their gardens.
BOBBY
Sitting out in the garden, eating duck necks as a raw treat, getting a clean bill of health at his health check up, going on a play date with his furiend Wilf and getting new toys to play with.
AND THAT’S OUR ME AND MINE – MARCH 2021.
Despite everything 2020 threw at us I am so glad that we have still managed to capture our little family during the strangest year. As we start a new year, our 6th year taking part in the #meandmineproject I’m excited to see how 2021 develops. It would have been easy to stop. But actually it’s already really lovely to look back on the first three months of the year.
Chapter 4 of 2021 awaits. A month of garden parties and catching up with friends.
