Such a magical end to the year
What else was there to do on our 10 year wedding anniversary in the middle of a Tier 3 situation and the most wonderful snowfall. A family walk. Especially as fresh snow had fallen. It might not have been what we had planned, but it was lovely all the same. It was simple. It was perfect. The scenery was beautiful. We found a new place to walk and it was like finding ourselves in the middle of Narnia. Which is one of my favourite movies from my childhood. It really did feel magical.
We walked for hours, explored this amazing hideaway, a winter wonderland in the middle of our village. As we may never get to go back again we really did enjoy the moment. We savoured it. The snow was deep, soft, still pristine and white. We wandered through the tall trees, deep into the woods, sledging along the way. We threw snowballs and ran through the snow.
The scenery was so picturesque. I made a little Reels which I’ve shared over on my Insta. It will be lovely to look back on. We made memories. These are the moments I want to look back on and remember 2020 for. The precious moments in time that will forever be a part of our journey. Life as our little family.
Happy 10 years married Mr H. May the next 10 years be filled with love, excitement and adventure.
