Happy Friday!
Despite the weather it’s been a lovely half term. We’ve chased the sunshine and brief moments without rain to ensure we make the most of every last drop of this break together. There’s been some slow days, adventure days, family days and time with friends. Mr H joined us for a couple of days and of course we have the weekend together.
How was your half term?
We’re about to see the tier system in my local area change, we will be moving from Tier 1 to Tier 2 as the weekend arrives. And of course with the news about France and Germany moving to a period of Lockdown I feel very lucky to have had these adventures with George this week. We need to focus on the little things and remember that one day we might look back on them and realise they could be the big moments.
And so here’s…
What I’m Loving This Week
A walk with friends, eating pumpkin pie for the first time. Following the Halloween Spooky Trail at Trentham Gardens, gosh that was fun. Watching George playing on a tree swing, scared the life out of me but the excitement in George was wonderful to watch. And then there’s the colours of Autumn, how someone couldn’t love this time of year I don’t know. I managed to squeeze in some me time – I got my nails painted, totally inspired by the colours all around us. We went to a waterpark, the boys had a splashtastic time and today we’re off to mini golf.
I hope you had a wonderful half term.
Love KA x
That Halloween walk looks brilliant. I’m pleased you were able to get out and about, it was a very wet half term x
