Me and Mine – February 2020

Me and Mine – February 2020

Farewell February, the windiest month.

And so, it’s the end of Chapter 2. The month flew by, don’t you think? It always does after January, I find. February was a bit of a disjointed month for us really. George fell and hurt his wrist which slowed us down somewhat. Half term came and went in a flash as they do. Mr H wasn’t about two weekends out of four so if truth be told we missed him terribly and I’m really looking forward to what March brings.

It’s also been a bit of a tricky weather month which is why we didn’t manage to grab a family photo or get out as much. Yes you read that right, no family photo for February. Which on reflection makes me quite sad. I won’t dwell on it though as it just means I have to take two in March.

Just like January was for me, March is Mr H’s birthday month so already I’m zooming ahead and getting excited for his celebrations. And so let me tell you a little more about Me and Mine – February 2020…

George

A play date with friends, planning Daddy’s birthday celebrations, a snow day and his School closing, playing Sonic the Hedgehog on his playstation, in some strange way hurting his wrist as he was excited for the plaster and watching TopGear.

Daddy

Decorating the hallway. Celebrating his friends 40th birthday. Watching George play some great football before he hurt his wrist, the start of his birthday celebrations – watching 1975 and breakfast with friends.

Mummy

Buying George a valentines card and gift (Mr H and I don’t celebrate), getting together with friends for food and drink, spending four quality days with George over half term, starting to unravel my Spring wardrobe and starting to watch The Crown.

And that’s this months Me and Mine. A little different to my usual post as this time I failed to grab a family photo. So instead this month is a collection of me and mine just not the three of us together. You can take a little look at 2019’s me and mine project here. I say this each and every month, but this truly is a gorgeous family portrait project. I’m so sad not to have managed to grab a photo this month. And lastly, I hope you have a wonderful month of March ahead. It’s Mr H’s big birthday month so hopefully a wonderful month of celebration.
