Me and Mine – January 2020
Farewell January.
Farewell to my birthday month. And ahoy there to my forties and 2020, the year of the rat.
And so, it’s the end of Chapter 1 of a New Year. You didn’t half start off well? I guess that’s because it was my big birthday month so really there was no time to be all blue. We did have time to enjoy the blue skies and slow weekends. It’s been a lovely weather month, I think.
Looking back at January it really has been a lovely month. Full of celebration. We saw in the New Year with friends, singing karaoke and eating and drinking for what felt like hours. There has been so much time spent together as a family even if that does mean at a football match in the freezing cold! But also with friends and George’s pals. It has been a month of celebration, making holiday plans and 40th birthday plans for Mr H in March. It was lovely starting off the new year with so much celebration. January is going to be a tough month to follow. Good luck February.
And so let me tell you a little more about Me and Mine – January 2020…
George
Eating Mummy’s birthday cake and cookies, sleeping over in the big bed with Daddy when Mummy went away for the weekend, having a play date with his best buddy, scoring two goals at his football match and surprising Mummy with a birthday breakfast.
Daddy
Starting the year watching George play football, booking our first holiday of 2020, catching up with friends, having a boys weekend with George and getting excited for his birthday weekend in March.
Mummy
The house being filled with birthday flowers and balloons, bright blue skies on the day we took our family photo, becoming a monthly columnist for Staffs Living Magazine (a bit of a dream) and watching George play football.
And that’s this months Me and Mine, my first record of our little family in 2020. You can take a little look at 2019’s me and mine project here. I say this each and every month, maybe for 5 years or more but this truly is a gorgeous family portrait project. And lastly, I hope you have a wonderful month of February ahead. See you on the other side.
Congratulations on becoming a monthly columnist in Stafs Living Magazine. I have just read your first article and I couldn’t agree more with your comments on how clothes can make you feel. I shall look forward to reading it each month.
