This week I have been

We’re over here, simply having a wonderful Christmas time.

Wearing sequins, eating Christmas chocolates and wearing Santa hats. There’s a time and a place for everything and right now it’s sequins and mince pies. In other news, we’re now in full Christmas preparation mode, feeling excited for dates in the diary and George’s social calendar calming down. Which will hopefully get easier after this weekend. We’re getting excited each morning as we look to see what Buddy the Elf has been up to overnight. Has he been mischievous, fun or cheeky. Do you have an Elf staying with you?

This week I have been

Wearing

Sequins and cosy knits. Tis the season. It’s such a cosy outfit. I always look forward to wearing my sequin wardrobe for all our festive days out and drinks with friends. I’ve been looking for an opportunity to pair these different shades of pink together, they were just as lovely as I thought they would be.

Watching

Oh my goodness. The latest season of New Amsterdam showed up on our planner. We’ve been binge watching and I for one could not be happier. And of course there was the final of I’m a Celebrity, George and I both hoped that Andy would have been crowned King. The boys also went to the cinema to watch the latest in the Jumanji movies, they tell me it was funny and that I missed out. I’m not so sure.

Catching up with a friend

It was so lovely to have a little festive catch up, drinks and food with my dear friend Becky. Some time together without our little boys. The restaurant we visited was so beautifully dressed for Christmas, it may have been the reason for our choosing. What better reason? I’m looking forward to catching up with more friends over the festive period, well – that’s in between all George’s parties and dates in the diary. That boy has one huge social calendar.

Relaxing

In amongst all the madness, football matches, football Christmas parties and merriment’s I have been enjoying making the most of the quieter moments. Often sat in front of twinkling lights with a hot cup of coffee. I won’t lie it will be nice come next weekend when we can wake up naturally, without an alarm for almost two weeks. Are you looking forward to the break?

And lastly

This time next week we will have just returned from a whirlwind 24 hours trip to Lapland. Sssshhhh it’s a surprise. Mr H and I are beyond excited. It’s a trip we have been talking about for a couple of years now and I’m so glad that it’s finally here. 6 more sleeps. Guys, I am so excited about it. Although slightly anxious about how cold it is going to be. We are prepare. Wouldn’t it be great if we have bright blue skies for our time in Lapland.

Have a great week and see you once again when I am all thawed out.
