Merry Christmas from The KA Edit

I’m sure by now your inbox is filled with Boxing Day sale emails. So I guess I should say sorry for adding one more this year but I wanted to wish you all a very Merry Christmas. Have you managed to switch off a little over the holidays? We’ve managed to relax, to spend some lovely time together, just us. In between the moments of chaos, present opening and entertaining. I do hope you have too.

We have been playing table tennis, testing ourselves with Harry Potter Top Trumps, reading an annual or two and having Nintendo Switch wars. Watching many movies and eating lots of food. It really has been a wonderful Christmas Time. And so, whilst the boys are playing FIFA 20 I thought I would escape and update the blog.

I don’t know about you but I have found myself looking for the quieter moments over Christmas time. Life was incredibly busy in the run up to the festive period and of course with 3 more adults to entertain, Christmas Day was a little chaotic. And because of that it’s official, I think I love Christmas Eve and Boxing Day more than the day itself. Is it just me? Does that sound a little crazy? Is it wrong that actually when it comes to the festive period I prefer when it is just us, the three musketeers?

I was craving some quiet time on Christmas Day, where I could just breathe in all the magic, look back at the photos and videos I took from Christmas morning, of George and Alfie opening their presents. Moments of excitement and joy. And of course to sigh in disbelief that Mr H didn’t cook enough pigs n blankets nor did we have sprouts. Oh my goodness, my Christmas dinner was very nearly ruined. That said his cauliflower cheese was very tasty indeed. Well done Mr H.
