This week I have been
Enjoying all the colours of Autumn. They’re just so pretty. And wearing all the layers.
I haven’t been enjoying the rain, gosh the weather really does need to sort itself out. What happened to the October sunshine? We’re more than half way through the month. Thankfully the sun shone over the weekend when we really needed it to but since then it has poured. All day, all night.
I think I’m feeling the change in weather more so this week as I have been coming down with something for days now. I can feel my body fighting off a cold so there have definitely been some early nights in a bid to keep the bugs away. Hopefully I’m beating them and won’t fall down at the weekend. Mr H isn’t really about much this weekend so I could do with being in good health. I’m hoping George and I can get out and about, maybe visit a pumpkin patch or enjoy a walk out into the woods. Anyhoo…
This week I have been:
Relaxing
We managed to enjoy some down over the weekend in between all of the madness. George played a football match on Saturday and Sunday morning, we also managed to squeeze in a family photo shoot and a stay over over at friends. Friends who we don’t see all that often so it’s nice to escape to theirs for the night. They live in a gorgeous party of the countryside not too far away, but enough that we feel totally closed off. So when Sunday afternoon arrived I very much enjoyed getting cosy under a blanket.
Reading
A few more pages of my Red Magazine. I really do need to find some more time to read the rest. I love that the Victorian Maxi Dress is big this season as I have two dresses in this style and love them both very very much. Actually I need to wear my green one this weekend. I must remember to do that.
Writing
I have been writing about wearing cosy jumpers over on the blog, one of my favourite trends at this time of year. I’ve also been writing about Florida – there’s just so much to share. This time it was all about our favourite snacks at Walt Disney World.
Watching
Friends on repeat. I’ve started from the beginning and I’m really enjoying seeing all the old episodes. Are you a friends fan? Usually I just watch random episodes so it’s kinda great to be going right back to the beginning. Gosh they look so young.
Photo taking
We are so lucky to be working with a local photographer, a very talented one. I’ve been chatting to Amanda for about a year and couldn’t wait to get this time together. We spent over a hour wandering around our favourite, Trentham Gardens. Chatting, sitting, laughing all whilst Amanda snapped away. Everything felt so natural. The results have been amazing and I cannot wait to share more with you. Lately I have felt like time is slipping away, the years with George are flying by, so it has been just lovely capturing our little family right now. {The photo shoot and images below are part of a collaboration which have been gifted to us}.
And so, that’s this week’s I have been post.
She captured some gorgeous photos. I love Friends, when it came onto Netflix I started it from the beginning and loved watching it all. I’m now watching Downton Abbey from the beginning and enjoying it x
