Oh hello October
But first, a few words about September.
Dear September, thank you. Thank you for the light, for the bright sunshine and beautiful sunrise and sunsets. Thank you for the time spent with friends and family, for the growth I see in my business and the new found courage I feel inside. To say no and close the door. I love all that you were. Thank you for the memories, for the new experiences and challenges that we overcome.
And now to welcome Autumn.
My arms are wide open, I am ready to embrace you and all that you bring. For the cosy afternoons snuggled under blankets watching movies. For hot chocolate and marshmallows, for beef stew and dumplings and puddings with lashing of custard. I am ready. For the orange hues and bright blue skies, for the sunlight shining through the trees and most of all the colour in the trees. For the streets lined in blanket of colour.
Autumn Days. For me it represents a change in mood, when life slows down a little, welcome lie ins on a Sunday morning, fluffy pancakes for breakfast, cosy nights watching a series on Netflix. There is so much to love about this shift in season. Don’t get me wrong I cannot resist the blissfully warm days of summer but there’s something so heart warming about Autumn.
Oh hello October. I see you. If you’re a little shy about welcoming Autumn then you can get excited for your change in wardrobe by reading my Five Tips for planning your Autumn/Winter Wardrobe or my Clothing & Fashion Pinterest Board where I regularly share outfit inspiration.
I love Autumn too for all of those reasons! It’s so great to hear that everything is so positive in your world Kerri-Ann, I’m really happy for you. I hope October is just as wonderful. And we really need to sort out meeting up sometime soon!

Well I just think it’s best to run with these things as then you resent the change. I would of thought fall would have been your favourite?
