5 Ways To Wear A Cosy Jumper
If you’ve seen my Instagram lately you’ll know that I have fully embraced my Autumn/Winter wardrobe. I’ve even wrote about it, a couple of times actually. I love all the seasons, really I do but there’s something about all the layers and cosy jumpers that get me so excited for the coming months. In some way I feel like I’m a bit of a traitor, to my sandals and summer dresses but gosh does it feel good to be wearing jumpers and boots.
Cosy season is officially here.
I have decluttered my wardrobe, fully removed all signs of Summer. I have added a few cosy knits to my collection and indulged in a new coat. There are twinkling lights dancing around the house, Chilli & Chorizo for supper, autumnal tones filling my wardrobe and cosy Sunday afternoons spent under blankets watching movies. Enough of that, you’re here for the jumpers right? I love this time of year for so many reasons.
Keep reading to find out how I style my cosy jumpers.
So, first up you have my favourite – jumpers and maxi dresses. There is nothing quite like an outfit that keeps on giving and that my loves is a maxi dress. Throw a jumper over and there you have it, a dress that goes from Summer to Winter. And then there’s my second favourite a big cosy roll neck and satin midi skirts, what is there not to love about this outfit? You can never go wrong pairing an oversized jumper with a midi skirt. A firm favourite for the last 3 years.
And when it gets really cold, you have jumpers and mini skirts – leather, denim and wool and with the addition of tights you have all the cosy feels. Officially I wait until November to bring out the tights, how about you? And lastly cable knits and leather trousers – last year I finally embraced the leather trouser look and gosh did it become a firm favourite.
Here are my 5 Ways To Wear A Cosy Jumper:
I haven’t quite captured how I’m wearing my cosy knits this year so I thought I’d share 5 ways to wear a cosy jumper from yesteryear. I know for sure that this is how I’ll continue to wear my jumpers, with the addition of cardigans I think my Autumn/Winter wardrobe is just about there. One extra tip from me, don’t be afraid to add colour – this year I’ve added pink, brown and green. I’ve added some of my favourites to my Wardrobe if you’d like to have a look.
You really can’t beat a good sweater for sure. My new fave combo since being inspired by KA, is a sweater and skirt and boots for winter and sandals for summer. I need more skirts in my life.

Knee boots would look good on you for sure
I love short skirts with jumpers but I HATE wearing tights so never ever put that look together and always stick to my faithful old jeans. You always look gorgeous whatever the season Kerri Ann – I think you need to add personal stylist to your repertoire of careers 🙂
