Me and Mine – August
Oh August.
You were so beautiful.
Filled with blues skies, crystal clear waters and generally a whole bunch of time spent together just us. The first half of the month was spent going between work, sports clubs and Nanny and Granddad – the summer holidays were definitely a juggle. But we made it. We all survived and actually I don’t know what I was worried about.
And then there’s the second half. Much more relaxed, when we flew to Spain and enjoyed 10 days together in the sunshine. It has been relaxing and refreshing. Fun and full of lazy beach days as well as water sports.
Oh August.
It felt a little strange not spending two weeks in Spain this year, but with spending the first week of the summer holidays in France with Eurocamp we had to cut the holiday a little short. That said, we made the most of our last few days together before the return to work, School, after School clubs and routine.
And so let me tell you a little about Chapter 8 of 2019, Me and Mine in the month of August…
Mummy…
Blue skies and sunshine for ten days in Spain, acting silly with George (see below) when we found street art in Murcia, watching George trying to catch fish in the sea, watching the Go Pro footage of George on the water slides and lastly watching my boys trying paddle boarding for the first time.
George…
Where do I begin. Going on play dates with his buddies before we flew to Spain, football club with his best buddy, learning to paddle board with Daddy in the sea, buying two new football kits and playing UNO (creating his own rules).
Daddy…
Extremely happy that George has enjoyed his summer clubs this year, happy hour on our way home from the beach, eating tasty food in Spain, listening to music as the sunset on the beach and lastly Paddle boarding with George in the sea.
And that’s this months Me and Mine, a gorgeous family portrait project of our little family in August. How are we already 4 days into another Chapter? How? Gosh time really is flying by. Have a great month and see you on the other side.
So lovely what a gorgeous month for you guys and summer holidays. Sounds amazing. Lovely snaps too. So colourful and adventurous.

Thank you Jenny, time in the sun is good for the soul x
I loved following both your Eurocamp holiday and your trip to Spain on Instagram Kerri Ann – they looked like such fun and you seemed to pack so much in without it being too busy, just the right balance of adventures and relaxing. That street art is amazing!

We love the explore, but always have a blend of up and down time as the weather really does take it out of you. But also holidays are for switching off
Such gorgeous photos KA. Summer seems like such a dim and distant memory now doesn’t it? Glad you had such a wonderful August, sounds like you crammed a lot in and ended it in style. I haven’t been to Spain for years, looks so beautiful. xx

Thank you, not quite but as soon as my skin reverts to pale white I shall indeed have the holiday blues
It looks like you’ve had a really glorious summer together. I’m sad that sunshine and travels are done for another year.
