Hello there Friday Favourites.
Hello there weekend. It really is so lovely to see you.
I think by Wednesday evening I was ready for the weekend and on Thursday I was asleep by 9pm. The blue skies seem to have returned and there are flowers all around me. Yes these are the little things that make me smile. That and new accessories, clothes and a holiday countdown. 12 days people, 12 days until we hop on a flight to the sunshine state (I do apologise if you are fed up of hearing about the countdown now).
The week’s are so busy right now that I have really enjoyed our Sunday chill out days. They are much needed by all of us and if truth be told I love the down days as much as the adventures. Grabbing snacks whilst watching a movie together snuggled under blankets isn’t a bad way to spend a Sunday in my book. For this reason I will continue putting together my weekly favourites, they are a lovely reminder of the little things that make me smile.
And so here are my Five Favourites from this week…
Last weekend…
I spent the weekend at the MADE wellness centre attached to Moddershall Oaks Spa with Jenny and other lifestyle and fitness influencers. We were treated to a day of fitness classes, well being, some really lovely food and drinks. We chatted about health, fitness, lifestyle and everything in between. The day was brilliant. All rounded off with a dip in the outdoor pool which was heavenly. I’ll be writing up a full post soon as there is so much to share.
New shoes…
Ooh I do love new shoes. Especially when the weather picks up and the blue skies return. The lovely team over at Peacocks sent me some Spring/Summer shoes to add to my collection. A lovely gift to receive, straight away I pulled out my summer bits and bobs and can see them fitting right in. I may have worn the leopard print in a flash and can see them being my favourite pair although these mustard ones will look so cute with my jeans, jumpsuit or Summer dresses. Oh I do love new shoes.
Holiday Countdown…
I picked George up from School on Thursday and the first thing he said was how many days and how much he is looking forward to the trip. We all have our tick lists as well as the rides and experiences we are most looking forward to. For me it is a day at Discovery Cove, as well as some roller coasters and of course Flight of Passage and that first look at the Castle down Main Street. For George it’s the water parks, Kennedy Space Centre and Animal Kingdom. And lastly Mr H – water parks, Discovery Cove, Kennedy Space Centre, Star Wards, Sesame Street. There’s just so much to look forward. We treated Mr H to a GoPro for his birthday and he is currently watching vlogs about how best to use it as well as picking out accessories so we can use is on rides and water parks etc. I really do hope we manage to capture some great moments.
Magazines…
My Red Mag made it through the letterbox this week and it reminded me that I haven’t actually read the last one. So I am popping this one in my bag ready to indulge as we fly to Orlando. I really must get better at sitting and reading. If truth be told any spare moments are spent watching Tim Tracker vlogs – although now as we’re so close I am happy to leave them alone and just extract the tips we need ready for our big trip.
Wore…
Can you believe we have been back to Winter coats this week. The wind blew us about on the school run, just look at George’s hair. And I couldn’t resist digging out my roll necks and leather jeans again. Although after waking up to a blue sky this morning I am super excited to leave the coat behind for a family day.
Have a great weekend.
I love those leopard print shoes, perfect for this time of year. I bet you’re super exited about your trip to Disney, its going to be amazing. I hope you’ve had a lovely week x

They’re such a simple design but so comfortable
Ooh new shoes is always a great perk to the week! I am so jealous of Disney, we have been thinking about going at the end of the year, I need to weigh it up!
