My current crush – it has to be the headband.
I just had to share my new love with you. I always fall in love with accessories at this time of year. I don’t know what it is about Spring but the shops seem to be filled with so much love. I’m all for hair accessories, they can instantly freshen up a look. Take you from day to night and for me that’s just up my street.
My hair often looks the same from day to night so being able to throw on a headband quite literally makes me feel refreshed and well a little more put together. Why not revive the traditional top knot with a retro-femme style – I adore these knotted headbands. They are quite simply a headband wrapped in a soft fabric cut wide with a knot at the top. So simple.
I have a leopard print and black version. But there are so many colourways. So I guess I’m saying top off your look with one of these headband styles. Whether you pin your hair up, wear the band in amongst your hair or pushed back behind your ears you will feel head over heels in love with this must have accessory. I picked up both from Primark for just £2.50 each, recently too so they will still be in stock. There are many more colourful alternatives in store and of course you’ll find them in all the high streets.
Will you be trying this new trend?
My daughter has started wearing headbands and they look fab on her. I picked up that leopard print one to but she wouldn’t have it! Looking as stylish as ever KA 🙂 xx
