Oh hey there week gone by.
And hello to my Friday Favourites.
What can I tell you about this week? I got struck down by a horrid bug on Monday night which completely floored me on Tuesday. Thankfully it passed the boys by as quite honestly, it was horrendous. The rest of the week has been fuelled by coffee and quite literally disappeared in a flash. I haven’t managed to fit in any training and really do need to find the time. Its great being so busy but I can’t help feeling like this week I have been chasing around in circles. Hopefully I can work through my to do list this weekend as Monday already looks a little hazy.
And so for this week’s favourites grab a coffee or maybe a glass of wine and read on…
Last weekend…
Last weekend seems like so long ago now. I had my hair chopped off, we went to the cinema to watch Captain Marvel which was outstanding and left us feeling so excited for the next movie. I mean outstanding, one of our favourites as it pulled everything together. And on Sunday I drove over to Jenny’s house to meet up with a lovely group of friends. We ate a lot of cake, drank coffee and chatted for hours. I even came home with a goody bag.
Read…
I have been reading through all the cards and messages from friends, peers and family. Ones they have sent me since my business launched. I can’t believe it’s been two weeks now. Again, another example of time zooming by. We’ve had a great first two weeks and I only hope the momentum continues. I am so glad that I decided to go for it.
Drinking…
Since changing my diet almost 12 months ago now I only drink black coffee and green tea unless having a treat from Starbucks I have been a little choosy in what I put in my cup. And so, when the team over at the Coffee Brewer got in touch to try out their ‘brewed in a bag’ specialty coffee and teas I won’t lie I was quite excited. The coffee is organic and fairtrade, the design is innovative and the taste is a sensation. And I love that their products are reusable for a number of times. The story they tell is one that needs to be heard and I love what the brand stands for. The pouches are super for those on the go and as you can use they time and time again I’m really enjoying the process.
Watched…
We have spent most evenings after George’s clubs watching The Tim Tracker vlogs. We’re all getting so excited. It’s only 33 days now until our trip. The excitement really is building. We all have certain bits we’re looking forward to and I have a long list of rides that are already starting to scare me. Our plan is cemented with Mr H making slight tweaks every now and then, the list is long for snacks we want to try, I have a list of Instagrammable walls and spots I want to shoot and Mr H, well he’s just excited for the rides and seeing George’s face when we surprise him with some experiences we have booked. If I am honest I’m not sure how I am going to capture all the magic.
This weekend…
This weekend will be about spending as much time as I can with these two. Last weekend was so disjointed and this week has been what can only be described as a little crazy. We have movie marathons, Disney, Seaworld and Universal chat happening every day, we have friends coming over and cake making planned. Just the little things that don’t take much planning but fill the heart with love and so much joy. Have a great weekend and week ahead.
I’m sorry to hear you’ve been unwell, there have been a lot of nasty bugs around this winter. I’m really pleased to hear your business has got off to a great start. I hope you had a lovely weekend and that this week hasn’t been quite as crazy x
Oooh that coffee looks fab. I am so glad you have loved your first couple of weeks, it was a big decision and you are amazing for taking that step! OMG I LOVE Tim Tracker we were obsessed with him before we went to Disney he is so cool but gives loads of information xx
