Me and Mine from a really lovely January. We’ve enjoyed a slow start to the year and I couldn’t be happier with how 2019 has begun for our little family. It’s going to be a BIG year, full of adventure and change – I cannot wait to share it with you. Exciting stuff.
The month has been wonderful. We’ve all enjoyed getting back into a routine, soaked up lazy mornings and slow weekends. Hence our photos being at home this month. I wanted January’s photos to truly represent our month, and I think they do just that.
And so let me tell you a little about our January, Chapter 1 of 2019…
I may have said already (inserts smiley face), we have had a gorgeous month together. It kicked off with my birthday celebrations where I mostly spent the day with George which was perfect – before heading out in the evening for tapas and Gin cocktails. We do adore this time of year so much. Any month with a birthday in is going to be good.
And then of course it’s about looking forward. We have Florida in April which is quite literally consuming every spare moment. The planning involved was a little overwhelming at first – that was until Mr H set up a spreadsheet. Finally we are getting our head around it. We then have France in July and Spain in August and quite possibly a surprise Winter trip for our gorgeous boy. It’s going to be a huge year for travel and adventure. As a family we have so much to look forward to.
And so, here are a few things we have been loving in January…
George…
Playing FIFA 2019 on his playstation, staying up late on weekends with Mummy and Daddy, movie afternoons snuggled under blankets, a boys day with Daddy and eating at Donut burger.
Daddy…
Planning our trip to Florida, boys day out whilst Mummy was in Birmingham, walking our fur baby (it’s been so long since he’s enjoyed a walk after hurting his leg), booking a weekend away for his birthday and getting back into training.
Mummy…
Shopping for summer clothes for Florida (of course), a day trip to Manchester with my boys, meeting friends in Birmingham, fresh winter mornings and bright blue skies and lastly celebrating my birthday with my two boys at the beginning of the month.
And that’s me and mine, our little family in January 2019. I hope February is filled with love.
