Decorating the house, Leather Trousers & Visiting Santa {Weekly round up}

Christmas is coming. Christmas is coming. Last weekend is by far one of my favourites – a top three in the moments we’ve collected over the year. It always sits high on the list, although this year there was so much excitement from all of us. George for decorating his tree, Mr H for lighting the house up and me, well I just love it all. From hanging the wreath on the door to popping the lights on the tree whilst the Christmas songs are playing throughout the house. And this year I’ve decorated our bedroom, I’m a little bit in love with the look and feel of it.

Isn’t it just a wonderful time? There’s something so magical about what Christmas time does to me and my family. Sunday afternoons should be spent under a blanket watching Movies. At every opportunity festive songs should be played and let’s not forget about all the chocolates and mince pies which keep finding their way into my cupboards or should I say my belly.

And so, here’s a little look back at the week gone by…

Last weekend…

Looked like this and let’s not forget meeting the big fella. We’ve visited this old fella for 5 years now. Mr and Mrs Claus are married (in real life), they are the real deal I’m certain of it and best of all they have a soft spot for Master George Archie. George truly believes he’s the one and always says so when he sees another dressed up. A helper so all the children can meet him.

Read…

My Red Mag arrived and look who’s on the front cover. I just love Holly. Love her. And the fashion this time of year always makes me smile. I’m still yet to get through it, hoping I might get a moment this weekend.

Wore…

It’s all about the leather trousers. I won’t lie, when Mr H told me to pick some up last year I wasn’t quite ready. But after only having them for a couple of weeks I don’t know why I waited so long. My new favourite and go to look is them paired with a cosy knit. This is me until Spring or at least until Christmas Day and the Boxing Day sales! I’ve also written about this jumper in my ‘What I Wore In November’ post if you fancy a snoop.

Watched…

The Christmas Chronicles, The Nativity at the Theatre which was fabulous, Ralph Breaks The Internet, I’m A Celebrity, Home Alone and so many more I’m certain of it.

This weekend…

I am home alone with my gorgeous boy from Thursday until Sunday as Mr H is away to Prague with his friends. We have some lovely plans and I cannot wait. I also have my works Christmas Party so Nanny is taking over for me on a Friday evening. We are both going to miss Mr H so much, he really is the glue that holds us together but thankfully we have face time.

Have a great weekend and week ahead x x

    We’re off to visit Santa this weekend hopefully, although it’s going to look a little different this year as we have one non-believer 🙁 I’m still not quite sure how to manage that! I’m very much hoping she’s going to help keep the magic alive for the other two. Your home looks so beautiful and cosy all dressed up for Christmas. We’ve finally got our decorations up too and I’m starting to feel a tiny bit festive. I can’t believe it’s only ten days away now! Hope you have a lovely weekend x
