This week, one of two halfs. Personally it’s been a blooming great week, George has settled into his new school so well – coming home with a second award. Mr H and I are adapting to a change in his classes outside of school and haven’t managed to mess up just yet. We have a happy boy which makes all the difference. I’ve found a spot or oomph in the content I’m sharing on here and my Instagram which feels good.
And then there is the other half. Well let’s just say I’m focussing on the positive and as it’s the weekend forgetting the rest. So, here’s the little things which have made me smile this week…

A little bit of self promotion here, I hope you don’t mind *blushes*. I have been featured in a local magazine – Staffordshire Living. In a fashion article all about Instagrammers sharing their outfits on their feeds and how this has become a huge part of social sharing. I feel so proud to have been asked to contribute. And they used my quote, in BIG, bold letters. Eek.

We have just finished the new series of Ozark – highly recommended although a little dark. Their resilience is incredible although really is there even a slim chance this is someone’s reality? How scary. And then there is Power which Mr H is watching, definitely not one for me. Together we have just started to watch Jack Ryan and already I love him and the series. He’s handsome and tough and intelligent.

I am in love with finding some new songs to add to my Spotify playlist. My favourites this week have been Promises (with Sam Smith) and then Sugar by Moon Boots. And of course The Greatest Showman soundtrack is still on repeat.

I am falling a little bit in love with my autumn wardrobe and gosh there is so much on the high street that I could buy right now. Although I have stuck with pink nails just one more time before I give in to deeper shades. My go to outfits at this time of year are always blazers and cosy knits over my summer staples – maxi dress, skirt and cut of jeans. I’m not quite ready for winter coats and hats but definitely on the look out for a new trench coat. I’ve written a couple of fashion posts this week, do pop by if you fancy a snoop. There’s even some tips on how to plan your Autumn/Winter wardrobe.
This weekend…
On Saturday I have a mummy and son day with my gorgeous boy and then he has a friend sleeping over so I am hoping to get some work done on my blog in the evening. Fingers crossed the day stays dry as we are both looking forward to stretching our legs at Trentham Gardens. We haven’t been in so long what with our holiday and then the return to school. Please weatherman, please be kind this weekend.
Have a great weekend whatever you do and see you on the other side.
