Me and Mine in September.
How are we at the end of another month? I say this so often but gosh this month has flown by, maybe even at lightening speed. I treasure these monthly photos. I’m so grateful for this project as it reminds me to snap a family photo each month. However imperfect they are the ones I’ll look back on with the greatest smile. One day I’m sure they’ll stop but for now they keep saying yes so I’m going to keep grabbing them. And just look at how tall he’s getting.
Where has September gone? In a blink of an eye October is upon us. September has been a month of new routines, tree top Adventures, conker hunting, monster sleepovers and settling into Junior School. Which I’m sure is the reason he’s grown up so much lately. He has so much independence in his new school, which I’m sure is the reason for him looking so much more grown up.
Ive said it before, can someone please build a time machine. I am loving him at 7 years old. And so, here are a few things we have been loving in September…
Daddy is loving…
Cooking up a storm in the kitchen on a weekend, celebrating our friends 40th birthday, Go Ape, taking George to a new football club and booking the Christmas Pantomime.
George is loving…
A new pack of football cards, movie nights, a sleepover at Nanny’s, Go Ape and his new scooter.
Mummy is loving…
Thai Food, Drinks in Manchester with our friends, Go Ape, Photo styling with a friend and buying a new coat.
I hope you all have a wonderful month of October, full of crunchy leaves, that winter sunshine we all love and cosy afternoons snuggled under blankets watching movies. I have added this post to Lucy’s #meandmineproject over on her blog Dear Beautiful.
Oh my! He is so big now – it’s funny how they sometimes seem to grow up overnight when they do something new isn’t it? It sounds like you had a lovely September. I’ve only been to Go Ape before and it was on a hen weekend when I had a raging hangover so I’d really like to try it again sometimes when I’m not feeling so terrible! #MeandMine
Isn’t he just. Oh gosh it feels like its been overnight. I can’t imagine GoApe was nice on a hangover
