And just like that it is time to put together my monthly round up of My Family Adventures and after a really busy month I’m actually looking forward to looking back through my camera roll. The sunshine and long weekends have been lovely haven’t they? In some ways quite relaxing as we’ve enjoyed some downtime with friends in between birthday celebrations for George. May for our little family was all about travel whereas June has been about staying local and enjoying much slower weekends together. I said this last month but as it’s true I am going to repeat myself… I love that when I look back on my camera roll the sunshine has spread across April, May and June – isn’t that just blooming lovely? What a great summer we are having. I crossed my fingers that it would stay for June and so now I’m going to cross my fingers and toes in the hope it stays until September.
And so our month looked a little like this… From sunshine filled Sundays at Trentham Gardens listening to live music, days and evenings spent at our local Cricket Club watching the football, sports day, birthday celebrations, a trip to Alton Towers, bbq’s with friends and lastly a final birthday celebration at Legoland. It really has been another great month albeit a little slower than than the previous two. I definitely haven’t taken as many photos. The boy has been living his best life celebrating his birthday over two weekends, what a lucky boy he is.
And so, here are a few photos from our little family in June…
Are you ready to read all about everyone else’s adventures in June? Grab a cuppa and maybe even a glass of wine depending on the time of day and enjoy a little snoop around – don’t forget to stop by Laura’s blog. As there are now two of us hosting we have decided to remove the badge and ask that you add a simple link back to where you have linked up so that people know where to join in the fun. See you in the comments and have a great June.
Don’t forget to show some love to the fellow bloggers sharing their My Family Adventures this month – especially if you’ve linked up a post. Be sure to use the hashtag #myfamilyadventures if you’re on twitter or Instagram so we can all keep an eye out for the posts and promote each others. I will also be sharing my favourites from the Instagram community over on stories so do look out for them.
Stunning photos as usual. Sounds like a lovely month of birthday celebrations. We’ve been making the most of the sun too. #myfamilyadventures
