Oh February, didn’t you whizz by in a flash? I can’t quite believe that we are about to venture into March, don’t you think it’s flown by? We have had such a great start to 2018, considering the end of the year didn’t quite go as planned it really has been a blooming wonderful start to the year. For our little family February was very much like January, full of family time with a dash of me time thrown in for good measure. The month started with hot chocolate and ended with forest fruits ice cream. Pretty perfect. Blue skies are the words that best describe February, for the most part anyway and after this weekend I am forgiving the weather man for those grey skies and rain. The days continue to feel longer and brighter which fills me with so much excitement for Spring. I do love Winter but seriously how nice is the feeling of Spring approaching?
What can I tell you about our adventures in February? Much like January there has been a huge amount of family time, enjoying winter walks around Trentham Gardens and even some Spring like sunshine for the last weekend in the month when we packed up the car and head over to Dovedale. In between all of that there has also been a half term where George and I have enjoyed some scrummy mummy and son days – we painted pottery, went tubing, ate a whole lot of cake and enjoyed some sunshine back at Trentham Gardens. And lets not forget right back at the beginning of the month when the boys went off to Manchester United whilst I enjoyed a girly day taking photographs with my friend Jenny.
Are you ready for a serious amount of photos and a little video? I just couldn’t decide which to include…
Are you ready to read all about everyone else’s adventures in February? Grab a cuppa and enjoy a little snoop around – don’t forget to stop by Laura’s blog, with having two hosts now you’ll receive double the love. As there are now two of us hosting we have decided to remove the badge and ask that you add a simple link back to where you have linked up so that people know where to join in the fun.
And lastly, don’t forget to join in over on Instagram using the hashtag #MyFamilyAdventures – Laura and I look through the hashtag daily and choose our favourites which we share over on stories. If you’ follow’ the hashtag, its a great new tool over on Instagram where the photo’s pops up in your feed – you might even find some new accounts to follow.
Looking ahead we have birthday celebrations for Mr H and our first holiday of the year when we head back to Whitby for a long weekend over Easter. See you in the comments #MyFamilyAdventures crew and have a great March.
Love these photos, you always manage to capture George’s personality in every shot. He’s such a cheeky little cutie. The blue skies have been the one thing that has been guaranteed to have me smiling this month too – long may they continue! x
Oh I’m in love with the blue skies and sunshine
Oh such beautiful pictures! Such a fast month much needed after the longest January! Blue skies and sunshine have been much welcomed this month although it has been so cold! #myfamilyadventures
Its blooming freezing now isn’t it. I am desperate for some sunshine x
We love Dovedale! We’ve only been once, last summer, and I’m determined to go back so we can climb Thorpe Cloud. It sounds like you’ve really made the most of the weekends. George will have so many wonderful memories to look back on.
It is one of our favourites and so nice to be able to see it from different angles like the Bunster Hill. I’m hoping my camera roll continues to make us smile.
