And so just like that the end of July is upon us. As I sit here pulling together this months round up of adventures I can’t help but smile. July has been quite relaxed for us, our days out have been unplanned, the weather has been both kind and very unkind. We’ve seen sunshine, rain, storms – we have seen it all this month. Capturing our little family life one photo at a time really does make me smile. I’m already looking forward to going back through our adventures at the end of the year – it’s going to make such a lovely photo book and maybe even a new photo wall of all our favourite moments.
Are you ready to read all about our little family Adventures in July? Grab a cuppa and enjoy our month in a few words and pictures. And don’t forget to pop over to see what the other Bloggers’ joining in have been doing or indeed add your own adventures at the end…
July has been one where we have stayed close to home – our first of the year and much needed for all of us after a busy few months. Most unlike us but we have actually really enjoyed it. The weather has been rather unpredictable and so we have made the most of our weekends by enjoying local attractions which never disappoint. Stealing moments of sunshine and dry weather in between the rain showers.
July started by picking strawberries which has fast become an annual tradition – pick your own, eating one and buying two and then making eton mess for all the family to enjoy. We have spent hours of fun at Trentham Gardens this month – as annual pass holders we have all truly loved exploring new corners and finding new ways to enjoy our time in the gardens. We have enjoyed picnics, rolled down hills, rode the zip wire, played rounders, climbed walls and trees, made dens, met a bearded dragon with the help of Critterish Allsorts and enjoyed the sensory garden.
And that’s a wrap on July. Another emotional month what with the end of Year 1 and all of the growing up this boy of ours seems to be doing lately. August is in part a quiet month for our little family as we are off to Spain for the last two weeks. The summer holidays are in full swing, the juggle of work, sports club and lets not forget Nanny & Grandad is very real. And so the countdown to our trip to Espana is full steam ahead. All that we need now is for the Weatherman to do his thing and bring the sunshine for the next three weeks.

Oh, what beautiful photos – as always! Looks like such a wonderful month. I can’t believe July is nearly over. It’s gone so fast.

The wildflowers at Trentham are so pretty aren’t they? We spent the afternoon there yesterday and loved it – sometimes enjoying the places right on your doorstep are just as much fun as adventures further afield 🙂 I hope the next few weeks feel like they go quickly for you – you’ll soon be off on your holidays for lots of lovely quality time together x
