As the beauty that is Autumn disappears before my eyes I think it is time. Time to bring out the winter coats, bobble hats and blanket scarfs. As much as I love the pretty colours of Autumn, the leaves are starting to disappear, the trees are starting to look bare and jack frost has made an appearance. And so, in a bid to cheer myself up because Autumn really has been so beautiful and full of colour, I may have been on a little shopping trip or two. I have a little confession to make – my name is Kerri-Ann, I am thirty six years old and I have an obsession with winter coats.
Something amazing has happened this year, in the space of two weeks and I don’t quite know how – I have managed to sell my fluffy leopard print coat which despite my hopes and dreams never quite suited me, and I have found not one, but two new winter coats. I am in LOVE with these finds. Usually I find my winter coats in the January sales or as the season is ending which isn’t ideal, especially as we are forecast snow in a few hours of writing this post.
Shopping for winter coats has never been so much fun. Finally, I have the winter coats my heart desire, a blend of colours to partner any outfit, a little bit of cutesy and a little bit of sass. This year I decided to start the hunt super duper early, mainly because for so many years I have quite simply missed the winter coat boat. And so to avoid all kinds of shopaholic stress I dove straight in and like any normal coat obsessed thirty something, I thought I would share my three new favourites with you…
