I love the fact that this gorgeous boy of ours enjoys popping on his wellies and heading out for an adventure. No questions asked he is raring to explore and always so full of excitement for what lies ahead. We stumbled across these woods on our travels today and I am so glad that we did. We kicked up leaves, which seems to be our new favourite thing to do this Autumn, collected sticks and pine cones and lets not forget looked for bears. Oh to be five years old and have an imagination filled with so much wonder.
We hadn’t been out long when it started to rain, and with no signs of it stopping I asked Lil G what he wanted to do and his response just made me smile and think how alike we are in so many ways…

I’ve written about this before, but honestly a Sunday well spent, brings a week of content. I love that Autumn is being so kind to us and allowing our weekends to be full of woodland walks. When you work full-time you really do appreciate the time you spend together on a weekend. Here are a few more shots from our little adventure…
