Elf on the shelf ideas…
This time last year we were planning buddy’s big return and I remember being just as excited as we are now. The only thing that ever concerns me is, will I find enough ideas so that we don’t have to replicate many and will I forget one night? Honestly, Lil G didn’t notice when we did use an idea from the year before which means I am feeling somewhat relaxed about Buddy’s return this year and yes I did forget and woke in a panic at 2am.
To keep the magic going we have left Lil G’s Magic Door in his bedroom and at different times throughout the year Buddy has left him a little gift. This has certainly added to the anticipation of Buddy’s return and even now I find him looking over the door in the event he might catch Buddy out.

This year we are introducing an Elf Pet to the magic that is our elf on the shelf tradition, Lil G loves reindeer so when this little guy cropped up in the shops I couldn’t resist. Hopefully we will find some new fun to be had for our 3rd year. Lil G is already excited to see what mischief buddy gets up to around our home. I have started to pin new ideas on our pinterest board, saving my favourites to my camera roll which I am planning to recreate soon. My top tip would be to plan some of your ideas in advance, pick up some supplies and expect the bigger ones to take a bit of time to set up. And so, here are some…

I hope you enjoy having your elf with you over the festive period. And wish me luck, this year we’re off to Disneyland Paris once Lil G’s school finishes for a few days but what am I meant to do with Buddy? As I am not meant to touch him or at least that’s how the story goes how does he make it to Paris?
Do you have any other ideas for elf antics? I’m trying hard to find some new ideas, hopefully involving our new Elf Pet who will be joining us this year as well as some of his favourite toys. I’m thinking batman and Darth Vader may make an appearance this year.

Our elf came to Florida with us for Christmas. He just appeared in our holiday villa overnight. He enjoyed trips to Disneyworld too having made his way into my bag 🙂
I think I just have to run with it and not let him see me holding him. Hopefully I’ll figure it out as I can see him posing infront of the castle 🙂 x
This is fab and has got me all excited! LB has started asking about Elvis our elf and I said to the hubby that we should start thinking! He’s already saved a rocket LB made at preschool for one. I can’t wait to see what Buddy gets up to x
