Lazy weekends, Cheesecake & Holiday are coming…

Lazy weekends, Cheesecake & Holiday are coming...

Hey guys, it’s my last weekly round up until September! How good does that sound? I’m so excited about taking a little break. About taking some time out with my boys and living life by the sea for a little while.

I wrote about taking a digital detox, a break away from my phone, work and blog earlier this week and actually I couldn’t quite wait to switch my out of office on come 3pm on Thursday.¬†As this post goes live we’ll be finishing off last minute bits & bobs, getting my nails painted and all excited before heading to the airport. Espana here we come.

In some ways the summer has whizzed by but then in other ways it feels like the countdown to our holiday has taken so long. I love hanging on until the last two weeks of the holidays, although it is tough watching everyone heading off on their adventures at the beginning of the summer break.

Read…

I enjoyed a lovely relaxing weekend, reading my magazine in the garden whilst the sun shone. It was heaven. The sun shining, music playing all whilst enjoying a hot cupof coffee. This month’s magazine has so many great articles. I literally haven’t read as much of a magazine for so long. I will be taking it with me to the airport to finish off all the other little bits but other than that it will be my books which I shared last week. I’m really looking forward to reading an actual book than on my kindle.

Watched…

We have started to watch a new series on Netflix – Manhunt: Unabomber. Like most series I’m often unsure at first and this one was just like many others – really surprising. We are storming through an episode or two each night, we’re really hooked. The storyline is so gripping and by episode 6 I started to understand more of the story which at first was quite shocking. Have you seen it?

Treat days…

I promised myself as my last day in the office approached I would treat myself to something called a Cakeaway. It’s the biggest piece of cheesecake you will ever see and it was delicious. I had to eat it over two days it was that big. I mean HUGE. It was so good and certainly motivated me to get to my last PT on Friday morning. I’m just sorry that there is no photo evidence for you to drool over.

Wore…

Another maxi dress. I’ve actually decided this is my airport outfit! I always get so chilly on the plane so my thinking is that the 3/4 sleeves will help! And I will be wearing a new colour on my nails but you’ll have to head over to my Instagram to see that! Speaking of Instagram it will be the only place I am posting whilst on holiday, it would be lovely if you’d follow along.

And lastly…

A little thank you for all your support lately. For popping back and reading my posts on here and over on Instagram. I need a little break away from things and hope you’ll come back in September to catch up. See you in a few weeks and enjoy the rest of your summer.
