#MySundayPhoto – Winter sunshine

This week has been so dark and gloomy, has it been so for you? I have really missed the sunshine and bright blue skies from Sunday and so I find myself scrolling back through my camera roll in search of some sunshine. Last weekend I shared a photo of the rainbow from our walk around Trentham Gardens and this week I thought I would share a few more of my favourite photo’s from that day. There are just so many beautiful scenes I just can’t hide them on my camera roll.

The winter sunshine really is quite beautiful, frozen water with sunlight beaming through the trees, sunshine on our faces and that winter glow which just makes everything look so pretty. And let’s not forget the sunset, a bright winters day seems to create the most beautiful of sunsets, and so I couldn’t help but wrap up warm and head out to the marsh just a few steps away from home and capture the last of the day’s sunshine. And oh my goodness, was it beautiful. The perfect day.

I have added this post to Darren’s #MySundayPhoto over on his blog Photalife.

Oh you caught the final rays of the day perfectly, no question about it. Lovely collection of images and yes, this week has been very grey and gloomy. Not good photography weather at all!

This is absolutely beautiful. I feel like there has been no sun at all since well before Christmas down here in London, so much so that when the sun does shine you almost wonder what it is X #Mysundayphoto

I think we are guilty of having kept all the sunshine in Cornwall this week. It has been an amazing week here.
