Since hurting my ankle back at the beginning of March I have struggled to get out and photograph the world around me as much as I do usually and so when we escaped to Whitby for the Easter weekend I couldn’t resist picking up the camera. It was quite literally my first opportunity to capture something other than home life. And so, I give you Falling Foss, nestled deep in Sneaton Forrest, a Forestry Commission site and situated right next to a Tea Garden – a waterfall.
We visited last year and I have to say the weather was far nicer however because of the rain storm it meant that the waterfall was rather dramatic and most definitely created a much more interesting photo to capture. Apparently folk swim at the base of the waterfall in the summer months, hard to imagine as it looked last weekend.
I have added this post to Darren’s #MySundayPhoto over on his blog Photalife.
