I really look forward to the beginning of a new month, not only because we are getting closer to my favourite time of year but also because it means I get to share all the little moments I have captured on film from the month gone by in a short film with you. I capture so many moments on camera that I rarely get chance to share and for this reason alone I am so happy to be pulling them altogether in a little video that we can look back on.
There was so much sunshine in October which is what I truly love about Autumn. A month for appreciating cosy Sunday afternoons, time spent together watching movies and lets not forget heading out for a walk all wrapped up in our winter warmers. I love everything about this time of year – those mornings where the sunlight is shining through the trees, the skies are blue and the leaves start to crunch as you walk amongst them. In a nutshell that is what October has been for us. A lovely blend of family time, slow weekends where we have enjoyed all the little things we don’t always get to do and lets not forget some fun times together riding the runaway mine-train and feeding the ducks with friends.
And so, grab a cuppa and join us as I look back on our little family Snapshots and Scenes from October through a short film and a few photo’s…
And just in case you were wondering, Snapshots & Scenes is a new monthly project that I am taking part in – along with a group of lovely bloggers. We have set up this little project to test our creative skills and to focus on telling a story through a short film centred around family life. Whether it is a day in the life, a holiday, a special moment, a day out or even just home life – interpret it as you like. And don’t forget to share your clips or favourite photos over on Instagram using the tag #SnapshotsandScenes.
We would love to see what you are sharing this month, and do make sure you pop by my co hosts – Jenny, Amber, Sara-Jayne, Mel & Chloe – and don’t forget to link up your own Snapshots & Scenes below with a little link back to where you found it.
