Me and Mine – A Family Portrait Project – October

I am so excited to share this month’s me and mine photo’s with you. For the first time in forever I have managed to capture all four of us, furry baby included. The outtakes are hilarious which only adds to the memories for this months captures. October has been a month of family time, of recharging our batteries and spending time together as a family unit. Alfie is now fully recovered from his operation in September and finally we were able to enjoy our morning walks of a weekend. We don’t know what the future holds for our furry baby, cancer really is a nasty little thing, we have all shed many tears however we have vowed to treat him to all the things he enjoys starting with a walk out at a local park which I decided to commemorate the occasion with our monthly me and mine photos. I am so glad that I did.

Already I am so excited to print our album in January. I’ve never quite managed to complete the full year of photos and so in celebration it will be the first thing I do as soon as our December photo’s are taken. It’s all about the memories, I for one am excited to be pulling together the album on Boxing Day.

And so, here are some things we have all been loving in October…

Mr H is loving… taking George along with him to a Manchester United game, Christmas preparations, introducing George to his favourite burger bar, ordering new bedroom furniture (don’t we sound old) and going on our first walk with our furry baby since his operation.

George is loving… his first time at Scarefest, going to watch Manchester United with Daddy, seeing the T-Rex at the Manchester Museum, having two of his friends sleepover (not so much mummy and daddy as we didn’t get any sleep at all) and lastly showing mummy and daddy all the toys he would like from the Disney Store.

And lastly I am loving… Play dates with friends, my Autumn/Winter wardrobe, our annual visit to the pumpkin patch, caramelised pecan latte and our gorgeous boys first school report of Year Two. He is doing so well and his teacher recognises he is trying so hard.

A few more photo’s of our little family in October…

I have added this post to Jenny’s #MeandMineProject over on her blog Let’s Talk Mommy.

The colours you’ve chosen here go so beautifully with that autumnal background. I’m intrigued as to how you managed a photograph with you all in – a tripod and timer? Sounds like you’ve had a fun month, what a lovely way of looking back on all you’ve done. Love that your fur baby is now back on his feet again. I think I would actually miss dog walks if they were no longer on my To Do list. xx
