September sunshine, Autumn fashion & Conker hunting #LittleLoves

I don’t know about you but last weekend took me by surprise, a lovely surprise might I add but after seeing so many grey skies and rain showers recently it was lovely to wake up to blue skies and bright sunshine. We made the most of the weather and spent the day at Trentham Gardens on Sunday playing in the sunshine, collecting conkers and eating our last ice cream of the year. As much as I love summer watching the seasons change is quite magical – the leaves falling, the sunlight and there’s just so much colour at this time of year.

And so grab a cuppa and have a little read through my little loves…

Read…

Apart from lots of your little loves post I haven’t really read that much this week. And on that note lets move on.

Watched…

Mr H has lost himself in Tin Star the last couple of weeks – I love the main actor Tim Roth but if I’m honest the series is a little too dark and twisted for me. Although saying that I loved Big Little Lies – I really do hope they come back with a second series. The cast were amazing, I’ve had a girl crush on Reese Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman ever since.

Heard…

I was messing around on Spotify in the week and stumbled across Maroon 5 – What Lovers Do ft. SZA. I love the summer vibe to this song.

Made…

We baked a little sweet treat on Thursday afternoon after school finished. The heavens opened and so what better way to spend some time with my gorgeous boy than making brownies. The lovely people over at Sweet Pea Pantry sent George some of their baking mixes, we couldn’t resist trying the brownie mix first – apart from eggs, golden syrup and butter the mixture is pre-prepared which makes things so much easier when you have a little one with a short attention span.

Wore…

My autumn wardrobe is filling up nicely – cosy knits, dresses and skirts that I can wear with ankle boots until it gets that little bit colder. I have been sent some gorgeous additions from the lovely people over at LOTD, I am gushing over this dress and jumpsuit. The dress is coming out for a little date night on Saturday, I am going to wear it with some black ankle boots and a leather jacket. And oh my goodness I loved wearing this jumpsuit on Sunday with my converse for a little wander out with the boys. I love the wrap and knot.

And let’s not forget the sparkly tee and pleated skirt from Zara. I first saw these in Spain but they didn’t have my size, I literally jumped on the website the second we arrived home. They have some gorgeous oversized t-shirts in at the moment, this one was an absolute steal at £12.99.

And lastly…

Mr H and I are off out on Saturday evening with friends but other than that it will mainly be just the boy and me this weekend as Mr H is pulling together his best man speech for next Friday. He is so nervous, I really do hope it goes well for him – he is best man to his friend of over 25 years. It is going to be emotional. Have a great weekend.

Thank you Gemma, you’re so kind. You haven’t? In fairness most are in the trees still. I am with you on the crunchy leaves and blue skies. Sadly today is grey and miserable x

Those brownies look delicious and i love every single one of the outfits. The wether has been so unpredictable we haven’t made it out to hunt for conkers yet but I’m optimistic that we will over the next week. We shall see. Hope you have had a great weekend.

If I am honest they’re not as good as a full fat version but I guess that’s called being healthy! Have a great week

Love your clothes, they’re gorgeous as always. Aww George’s little face munching on that brownie! I haven’t seen any conkers yet. My little one doesn’t even know what they are as we didn’t get them abroad, he’s in awe of all the leaves changing colour as he’s never seen that either – weird the things you take for granted. Good luck to Mr H for his speech on Friday, I’m sure he’ll be brilliant! Have a fab week x

The mister and I are so obsessed with Tin Star. You’re right though it is dark – definitely not one to rush through.
Loving that jumpsuit. I have to by anything full length from shops with a Petite section, otherwise I’d be all over that one.
Hope you’re having a lovely week so far xx
