This week has disappeared. I think with all the wedding preparations, the packing for George and of course Mr H and I and then busy days at the office the week has quite literally whizzed by. And that is exactly the reason why I love to pull this post together, to look for those little moments of joy and peace, the small things that although quite often feel insignificant – these are the ones that keep me going.

When I look back, I can’t help but smile at the weekend. We had a really good one, a blend of family time, one on one time with my boy and a few drinks with friends celebrating a birthday. And despite feeling a little delicate on Sunday morning George and I made our way over to Cannock Chase to meet up with another blogger and her children. We walked and ran around the forrest, hunted for the gruffalo, made dens and managed to grab some great photo’s too. Chloe was very kind and took some photo’s of George and I which I love so so much. I have been desperate to capture him lately as he just seems to be growing at a rapid pace. If you don’t know Chloe then do pop over to her blog Picture-Taker, Memory-Maker and Insta – she is one talented lady and currently trying to launch her family photography business.

And so grab a cuppa and join me for this week’s little loves which are filled with all the lovely colours of autumn…

Read…

A great post from Me and Orla on Instagram Shadow banning – it explains things perfectly, a great read if you are a huge Insta fan like I am. I also stumbled across an Autumn Instagram Project over at Pretty Not Included – I can’t remember where I found the link but I have signed up to the project and cannot wait for Sunday to arrive.

Watched…

Not much at all if truth be told. Moving swiftly on…

Heard…

The new Craig David song – Heartline. I was a little surprised to like it as much as I do but I love the sound.

Made…

I spent a couple of hours on Saturday styling autumn photos and researching Instagram hashtags – I’m really excited. I do love a good project and found so much inspiration in the hashtags. I love this time of year so much, so much so that I wrote a post all about it, do pop over if you fancy a read.

Wore…

My big cosy knit and new chelsea boots. You’ll find this knit at M&S – it also comes in a gorgeous orange which I may have to go back for. I was desperate for a new pair of Chelsea boots and couldn’t resist these New Look ones. They’re so comfy and look equally as good with a dress and jumper too.

And lastly…

As I write this post (which was on Thursday afternoon), we were making our way to the accommodation we are staying in for the next three days. Both anxious for different reasons. Mr H has a best man speech to deliver on Friday and I am spending the longest time away from my gorgeous boy. Yes that’s right my first three days away from George and if truth be told I’m really hoping it goes smoothly. A day and night yes but this feels major. We’re celebrating the wedding of Mr H’s lifelong friend and his beautiful bride to be so I know it will all be totally worth it. Apparently 3 day weddings are how it’s done these days. On Saturday it’s a mini festival in the courtyard and so I’m all set with my Gypsy Shrine Glitter and Dr Martens. Eek. Have a great week little loves crew.

For those new here I have added this post to Morgana’s #LittleLoves over on her blog Coffee, Work, Sleep, Repeat.
