Has it really been a month since I published my first Snapshots & Scenes short film? I believe it has but honestly how fast is time whizzing by. In the last month we have celebrated the end of the school year for our gorgeous boy, the start of the summer holidays, juggling childcare and sports club and lets not forget the countdown to our little family holiday in Spain.

When I first agreed to be a part of this new project I was so nervous, as much as I wanted to teach myself how to produce a short film I wasn’t sure how it would develop. With a little help from Xanthe Berkeley at Blogtacular I am really enjoying capturing little videos throughout the month. I am amazed by how a few seconds here and there when brought together make something so magical, even if I do say so myself. So much so that when I showed this months video to George he cried, he snuggled in and said mummy it’s so beautiful. I still have so much to learn but already I am really enjoying this journey.

We haven’t really ventured far from home these last few weeks. We have enjoyed lazy mornings, time exploring our favourite local hangout and play dates with friends. And so, grab a cuppa and join us on our little family adventures from the last month through a few photo’s and a short film…

And just in case you were wondering, Snapshots & Scenes is a new monthly project that I am taking part in – along with a group of lovely bloggers. We have set up this little project to focus on telling a story through short film and photos centred around family life – whether it is a day in the life, a special moment, a day out or even just home life – interpret it as you like.

We would love to see what you are sharing this month, and do make sure you pop by my cohosts – Hayley, JennyAmber, Sara-Jayne, Maria, Mel & Chloe – and don’t forget to link up your own Snapshots & Scenes below with a little link back to where you found it.

  1. I love your photos, Kerri-Ann. They are so full of love and creativity. I love the photo of the three of you on the bench! I’ve always wondered whether Blogtacular would be for me, and it sounds like it really helped with your videos (love them!). Must save up so I can go next year. x
