#MySundayPhoto – Hydrangea Love

Walking through the gardens of a local park on Friday evening I saw this gorgeous bloom dancing in the evening sunshine and I couldn’t help myself. I love to photograph flowers and honestly I am not sure there is a more beautiful bloom, other than a peony to capture. I’m drawn to the vibrant pink colour but also the delicate petals.

I usually carry my Olympus PEN around with me, never leaving the house without it and generally that is what I use to capture the moments. That was until this week, my so very kind Mr H has treated me to the iPhone 7 PLUS and its amazing camera. Oh my goodness, it is producing a depth of field that I have never managed on my camera. I am in love. The Portrait mode is fantastic, it is sensitive to light but other than that it is fantastic. What camera do you use?

I have added this post to Darren’s #MySundayPhoto over on his blog Photalife.

The flowers are so beautiful at this time of year, we all need to take more photos of them so we can remember them during the winter months
