What can I say about this week? It started with a little holiday booking – nothing like getting over the holiday blues by booking another. Kinda like a rebound relationship I found myself in when I was much younger. The weekend was very quickly followed by a gorgeous, ever so cosy wedding in the most beautiful setting and on Thursday I watched my gorgeous boy ride his bike, without stabilisers and a huge smile on his face. A pretty great week, so many memories with so much to look forward to.

And so, here are this week’s little loves – hopefully you have a cuppa and a biscuit…

Read…

The lovely Morgana shared this post all about some secret features of Instagram Stories – a couple of them I have been wondering how to do, well now I know. I particularly love numbers 4, 11 and 18. A great post from Social Mouth.

Watched…

The final episode of Little Boy Blue – oh my goodness it was such an emotional series. I found it really difficult to watch this collection of episodes, just so close to home you know. I just can’t imagine the pain that family continue to go through.

Heard…

I have been indulging in a little Take That this week. I love one of their latest songs – Giants. I remember watching them at the Old Trafford Cricket Ground a few years ago, it rained for the whole show but oh my they were amazing. They really are a great group.

Made…

One of my favourite meals on a week day, super quick and super tasty. I think I have shared this before and sadly I cannot find the link but basically it is halloumi, harissa dressing and a carrot slaw. Delicious.

Wore…

Sequins for our friends wedding on Monday, it felt perfect for a castle wedding – I did feel like a princess, sparkling my way through the day. I received so many lovely comments about this skirt and I can’t wait to wear it a little more casual with a tee and trainers. I picked it up in the H&M sale over Christmas for £7 but recently it has appeared back online. And lets not forget a little off the shoulder top and sandals for our trip into the bluebell woods. I love these sandals from Next.

And lastly…

Can you keep a secret? We rather spontaneously decided at the weekend to book a little trip for our boy, a magical trip as he finishes school at Christmas time. We are going back for another taste of the Disney magic, what else is there to do at Christmas? We loved our time there last year – Mr H and I are so excited. I am already thinking of winter coats, it was so cold when we visited last year. We have decided to keep it a secret from George until the morning of our travel, which is why I am telling you all – I need somewhere to get excited about it. Will you allow me a little indulgence every once in a while?

I hope you all have a lovely weekend little loves crew. I have added this post to Morgana’s #LittleLoves over on her blog Coffee, Work, Sleep, Repeat.
