Country Living #LivingArrows

“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” – Kahlil Gibran. The original quote used to describe this gorgeous photography project. For me it is about capturing childhood, specifically through our gorgeous boys eyes. Whether a portrait of him and his toothless smile, capturing a moment in time for the memory bank or quite simply watching him enjoy his childhood. We escaped to the gorgeous coastal town of Whitby for three days over the Easter break – Mr H stumbled across a gorgeous Camping Pod site and as it is something we have never experienced before as a family we snapped up a Pod.

We packed our camping chairs, instant BBQ’s, garden games and lots of layers and set off for the beach. We have made some wonderful memories, ticked off an adventure on our bucket list and watched this gorgeous boy of ours grow up that little bit more. As he approaches his 6th birthday I can’t help but notice his cheeky personality, he approaches our adventures with so much excitement and wonder that it leaves me excited for the next one on our list. After three full days of adventure it was so nice to sit and talk about his favourite memories yesterday – in a few photos here they are…

If you missed our previous posts you can catch up on our 2017 Living Arrows here. I have added this week’s post to Donna’s #LivingArrows over on her blog What The Redhead Said.

I really like the idea of those pods. I might have to look some up for time away later in the summer. Loving the hammock! #livingarrows

Oh Kerri-Anne, this looks like the most wonderful break! Hubby is really anti camping but he’d probably love a camping pod! Beautiful photos as always x
