For The Love Of Dresses

It’s a rainy day in October, so what better time to start thinking about winter florals and dresses. Come rain or shine, summer or winter, my love affair with feminine dresses will never fade. Whether worn with thick tights or bare leg, one thing is for sure that they remain a constant in my wardrobe. They are my forever. My go to item, any season.

For my latest {What KA Loves} post I thought I would put together my favourite dresses from  House of Fraser. And if you’re lucky you’ll find some are in the sale! Whilst I love summer with its gladiator sandals and floaty dresses there’s nothing quite like adding a little autumn love to your wardrobe.

My favourite go to dress this AW has to be a long line maxi dress or the ever so popular, on trend midi length which has graced us with its presence so prominently this season. Boho is back after all! I love how this year its a little more folksy than glam. Certainly suits my style much better! Glam I will never be.

I just love how a pretty dress can quite easily transfer into an autumn dress, layers and chunky boots need to be your friend! In the warmer months they can be worn ever so cutely, angel like, so pretty and all feminine. And then, Autumn arrives and you’ll find it is the perfect time to toughen them up a little by popping on a leather jacket and a chunky ankle boot. And don’t forget the skin coloured tights! (a little tip there for you).

My favourite has to be the Yumi Butterfly Print Shirt Dress, how pretty is it? I would be pairing this gorgeous dress with a pair of brown ankle boots and a denim jacket. What would you wear it with? Psssttt it’s on sale at £28.00!

I also love the mustard Hobbs Michelle Dress. For those that know me, will know that I am rather partial to a bit of mustard in my wardrobe! How cute would this look with a pair of black chunky ankle boots, bare leg and a leather jacket? You could even add a black polo neck for that extra layer. It’s all about the high neck this year! Psssttt it’s on sale at £59.00!

I’m all about updating your wardrobe affordable. Sadly the infinite shopping budget went the moment our little boy arrived so the importance of an outfit being transeasonal is a must in my world. And ever since becoming a mummy I find going to the shops all too stressful so I am drawn to a little a lot of online shopping. Much to Mr H’s dismay! As much as I love shopping online it can often be frustrating when you are paying for delivery from several brands. Which is why I often browse sites like House Of Fraser as they have such a huge collection of clothes all in the one place. All different brands catering for so many different styles.

And that’s a wrap for this week’s KA Loves. What is your go to item at this time of year?
