Football, Chocolate Milkshake & Head Scarfs #LittleLoves

Last weekend was sooooo nice. Despite the football season coming back with a vengeance, Lil G and I maaged to escape for a rather dreamy day out together. We drank a rather yummy chocolate milkshake, shared a delicious cream tea and kicked a football about (of course). It was a lovely day. At one point my gorgeous boy even called me his best friend forever. Pretty special.

And so, here are my little loves from last week…

Epic fail here this week. I have worked until 11pm each night and really haven’t had the opportunity to read a book or a blog post. So disappointing. Tonight however (which was Thursday) I am not working, I am talking to Mr H, cuddling my boy and catching up on a spot of blogging.

Lil G trying to master the art of writing. I saw these wipe clean alphabet and number flashcards in Sainsburys and thought I’d see how he found them. One thing I’ve noticed is that he isn’t quite holding his pen correctly. It’s wobbling all over the place. Any tips #LittleLoves crew on how I can help him with this?

Mr H stumbled across Son’s of Anarchy and so we are watching a new series. We are a few episodes in. Core blimey, that scene where they set his back on fire was just gruesome. The blonde is a little bit dreamy though isn’t he?

Lil G reciting nursery rhymes. Song and song. So cute and its one of my fondest memories of him as a baby. I used to sing to him all of the time. We went to so many classes which always started and ended with singing. And when I said today as he was singing in the bath, that mummy used to sing to him as a baby he said… I know mummy, I liked that a lot, will you sing to me now? Oh my goodness I nearly cried.

My new head scarf! As we wandered around Nantwich town we walked past a vintage market and I couldn’t help but take a little look. I picked up some gorgeous fabric and just need to find a few different styles now of those that best suit me.

I also went for red nails and lips for our date night on Saturday. Which was a little bit sassy!

Mr H made his scotch eggs again which were soooo good. I (of course) went for a little sweet treat. Peanut butter and chocolate chip fudge. Wow. Very tasty and a HUGE batch too. It’s cheap to make and only took 5 minutes to prepare.

And lastly…

If the weather holds out we are planning on taking a trip out to West Midlands Safari Park on Sunday. I’m not sure who is more excited, Lil G or Mr H. Other than that we have no plans which I kind of love!

What about you?

KA x

Lovely headscarf, that look really suits you.
Sons of Anarchy is fantastic, you’re right though it is rather violent. There are bits that I’ve had to cover my ears and hide behind a cushion, eek!

I love your head scarf, it looks so cute. Aghhh, writing, I have had the same problem with O with regards to him holding his pen. I haven’t got any great tips but I just kept showing him how to hold his pen and trying to get him to lean on his hand to steady himself. He gets a bit shirty with me when I try to show him but it does help so I have to be strict with him about it. I hate being all teachery with him but I figured he may as well get it right from the start. Good luck xxx
